Ask before you spend.
Generic AI doesn't know your numbers. Bijou does.
Ask Bijou
Not comfortably this month. You have $213 free after bills and goals. Two fewer Uber Eats orders ($47) plus $40 from Everyday would cover it, or book it for November and it's fully covered. What's your money personality?
Orelle reads your spending and tells you which one you are, plus the leak you're most likely to have.
No bank login. No homework. No judgment.
Built for Canada first. Statements from other countries often work, but aren’t widely tested yet.

Monarch, YNAB and Copilot cost about $95–109 USD a year and need your bank login. Orelle is $49 CAD and never does.
Frequently asked questions.
What is Orelle?
A monthly money check-up. Give Orelle one bank statement, or type a few numbers in yourself, and it tells you where your money actually went — the subscriptions you forgot, the fees you stopped noticing, the charges that shouldn’t be there. No scores, no lectures, no budgeting homework.
Do you connect to my bank?
No, and we never will. There is no bank login, no Plaid, no read-only access to your accounts. You upload a statement you already have, or type numbers in by hand. That’s a deliberate choice rather than a missing feature: the safest place for your banking credentials is nowhere near us.
Is free actually free?
Yes, and it isn’t a trial. Every month you get one money check-up, the full budget, your goals and three questions to Bijou, at no cost and with no card. Plus is for people who want every month read, want to see what changed, and want Bijou without a limit. If free turns out to be all you need, that’s a fine outcome.
What happens to my statement?
It’s split in your browser and read a page at a time. The file itself is never stored on our servers. We keep only the transactions — date, merchant and amount — and account numbers are masked before anything is saved. To pull those transactions out, each page is read by Anthropic’s Claude under commercial terms that forbid training on your data. You can delete everything from Settings → Privacy and data. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Why not just ask ChatGPT?
Because a general AI doesn’t know your numbers. Ask it whether you can afford a $300 weekend and you’ll get a sensible-sounding answer about budgeting in general. Ask Bijou and it reads your actual plan: what’s left after this month’s bills, what’s still due before payday, what your goals take. Every figure comes from your own statement or budget, and you can open the maths behind any answer.
What if I don’t want to upload anything?
Then don’t. Type in your income, bills, everyday spending, debts and goals — about three minutes — and Orelle works the same way from there: a real budget, Bijou’s observations and your goals tracked month to month. You can switch to statements later, or never.
Does it work outside Canada?
Orelle is built for Canada first. It reads Canadian bank and credit card statements, and it knows TFSA, RRSP and FHSA limits. Statements from other countries often work, but they aren’t widely tested yet — so if yours doesn’t read properly, email us and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can fix it.
Can I pay once instead of subscribing?
Yes. Lifetime access is $149 CAD, paid once. It seemed like a fair thing to offer, given that Orelle’s main job is finding the subscriptions you forgot you had.
Is this financial advice?
No. Orelle shows you what your own numbers say, and what they’d look like if something changed. It doesn’t know your full situation, and it will never tell you what you should do. For investment, tax or legal decisions, speak to a licensed professional.
How do I cancel?
Settings, then Manage plan. Two taps, no phone call, no are-you-sure maze. We email you seven days before any renewal, so it’s never a surprise. Cancelling drops you to Free — your budget, goals and history all stay where they are.
Who’s behind Orelle?
Orelle is independent and based in Toronto. It exists because Mint left Canada, and most of what replaced it either wants your bank login or makes you feel bad about a $6 coffee. Email hello@orelle.io and a person replies — usually the one who built it.

Your money, finally seen.
